Web Programmer Wanted

A majority of the customer work is for small to mid-sized businesses and organizations throughout the United States representing diverse industries such as non-profit, digital marketing, wholesale manufacturing, etc. Most of these companies need customized solutions tailored to their unique business needs; this is what we aim to give them. We currently provide customized forms, ecommerce, and content management systems.

Start as a part time (10-15 hrs/wk) contracted Web Developer. You will begin  by working within the existing development framework. Initially, the  focus will be on delivery of promised installations to customers.  Basically, you will be helping us maintain and build dynamic  websites. There is great potential for future work and possible full-time employment. Our growth plan includes expanding our web development team to assist the lead developer or guide outside resources.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Only PHP/MySQL programmers with thorough experience in Yii Framework should apply.
• Available to collaborate via IM during our work hours (M-F 9am-5pm Pacific time)
• Expert level proficiency with PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and Javascript
• Expert level proficiency with Yii2,JS (+ all basic Frontend HTML+CSS)
• Proficiency with NodeJS, Strapi (backend), Svelte-Sapper (frontend)
• Proficiency withReact-NextJS (frontend)
• Proficiency with jQuery and jQuery Mobile
• Ability to follow detailed instructions (starting with the application process below) 
• Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills 
• Ability to perform cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility testing
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and produce clear results
• A good sense of humor!

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with Facebook, PayPal, Google, Constant Contact APIs
• Experience with building templates and modules within CMS Made Simple framework
• Experience using Basecamp project management tools

 
Bonus Skills:

• LAMP Server setup/maintenance

Hours/Pay:

• 10-15 hours per week to start with the possibility of increasing to 40 hours per week
